Promise Ochibry is a Legal Practitioner at Ekwere, Ekwere & Associates. Specializing in Startup Law, she helps founders navigate and avoid legal landmines.

She advises startup founders on company formation and structuring, intellectual property protection and strategy, corporate governance and compliance, commercial contracts and agreements, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

A member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators, Promise also serves as Legal Consultant for Shop Naija Brands (an e-commerce platform) and Beta Tenant (a proptech company). In these roles, she prepares and reviews legal documents, translates complex regulations into practical tools for digital businesses, and provides guidance on corporate governance.

Beyond client work, she volunteers with the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), where she serves as Chairman of the Advocacy Committee.
