Hanson Johnson is a technical talent developer, CEO Start Innovation Hub, Chairman of the Nigeria Startup Acts Startup Consultative Forum, Tech Investor, President Ibom Innovation Network – Organisers of the impactful Akwa Ibom Tech Week. 

In the last 15 years, he has contributed to the development of the tech ecosystem in Nigeria as community lead, Software Engineer, Mentor and as Country Mentor to Google Developers in Nigeria – widely traveled and has consulted on different tech projects for The UK and German Government in Nigeria, Nigerian Government, Google, Meta (Facebook), and has been a member of the Federal Government of Nigeria’s Startup Labelling Committee.

His international tech engagements span across Kenya, Ghana, Zambia, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, United Kingdom, Germany and United States of America.

He served as the Ecosystem Director at Innovation Support Network (ISN) Nigeria between 2018 and 2023.

On 24th September 2022 he was honoured with Akwa Ibom State Productivity Order Of Merit Award in ICT by the state government for his contributions to the development of the state and its people.
