We’re happy to announce that WordCamp Uyo is officially on the calendar! The first official WordCamp event in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Scheduled for September 20th, 2025, at Vinpy Event Centre in Uyo, this event will bring together WordPress enthusiasts, developers, designers, digital entrepreneurs, students, and tech advocates for a full day of learning, collaboration, and inspiration.
Why WordCamp Uyo?
WordCamps are informal, community-organised events that are put together by WordPress users like you. Everyone from casual users to core developers participates, shares ideas, and gets to know one another.
WordCamp Uyo was born out of a desire to create a local platform for connection and knowledge-sharing. Our theme this year, “Empowering the Digital Future,” reflects our vision of equipping individuals and businesses with the tools and confidence to thrive in a tech-driven world.
